Supervision

Supervision

A warm space to explore, reflect, learn and play. I consider the role of a supervisor as somebody who is able to encourage sharing of knowledge and insights in a collaborative and respectful way.

As a Relational and Integrative supervisor, I am interested in the uniqueness we all bring in our encounters and in the diversity of our learning style: our subjective way to make sense of ourselves, our relationships and the way we engage with others. I tend to pay attention to process, as well as theoretical knowledge, and I integrate creative and holistic modalities into my practice.

I offer one-to-one clinical supervision to qualified and trainee counsellors/psychotherapists from any theoretical background.

I have 30+ years’ experience of the voluntary sector as a counsellor, practitioner, supervisor, manager and volunteer. Since 2005 I have been providing one-to-one counselling sessions and groupwork to adults who experience trauma, addiction, mental health problems and self-harming behaviour. Most of my current work as a counsellor is in private practice and through the Employee Assistance Programme (EAP), providing both face-to-face and telephone counselling.

I offer a half-hour initial meeting to explore the possibility of working together and to discuss practicalities.
